Best Intimate Restaurants In and Around Brisbane

Have you ever wanted to find that perfect little restaurant, the moment you enter it you get that comfortable feeling of being at home even when you are not? Do you love quite intimate restaurants that are hidden jewels yet to be discovered?

Welcome Aboard. You have come to the right place. Recently, I have had a similar urge to find a restaurant that would offer me delicious food, a great dining experience, a relaxed environment, friendly service and yet be away from all the hustle bustle of the crowded city. Not a very hard one to find you would think and maybe you are right.

I live in Brisbane so quite obvious I had a number of options to try.

My initial favorite was the Italian restaurant called Toscani's located in south bank. I know it is not the typical quite secluded restaurant, but all the same, leaving that part out it does fit the bill well. Their ravioli and pasta dishes are simply delicious and the ambience is very relaxing if you go out on a Monday night that is. The only problem, it is too far from home and I don't like travelling an hour to get to a restaurant when I am awfully hungry.

So I began my search again and this time I quite accidentally chanced on this beautiful little Indian Restaurant tucked away in the quite suburb of Bridgeman Downs called Masala Art. With its relaxed intimate surroundings and gorgeously decorated, light subdued interiors, I knew I had come to the right place. The welcoming smiles of the host and the beautiful aromas that floated in the air the moment I entered the place made my mouth water straight away. The food didn't disappoint either. It was what I would expect authentic Indian food to be. The tandoori chicken was nice and tender, the butter chicken sweet and juicy with a flavor that was rich, exotic and high on the palate, and the garlic naan bread was fresh and soft straight out of the clay-oven. What was there not to like, and I instantly fell in love with the place and the food. It had everything I wanted and more. So quite obvious it had me coming back for more and what can I say folks it has become one of my guilt-free obsessions ever since, and I am not afraid to boast about it.

So, here-in ends my journey of finding my perfect little dine-in getaway. Hope you all find yours soon too. Good luck and bon appetit!
